[Poster Presentation] Analysis of the effects of the two-photon temporal distinguishability on measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution

(in English) Measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution (MDI-QKD) protects the receiver from attacks against the measurement devices. Decoy method allows the unconditionally secure quantum key generation with lasers. However, two independent lasers for MDI-QKD have to send indistinguishable photons. According to the HOM interference occurring at the relay, time delay between two photons has the greatest effect on the distinguishability. In this report, we will discuss the effects of the two-photon temporal distinguishability in terms of the visibility of the HOM-dip of two photons on the final key rate of finite size MDI-QKD by simulation. The acceptable time delay range is estimated.
