Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Irregularly oscillating video movie is known to induce nausea. To investigate the influence of this sensation on body sway, heart rate and perspiration, 11 subjects were exposed to oscillating video (visual stimulation). After visual stimulation, length of body sway (LNG) and heart rate significantly increased (p<0.05). LNG further showed significant correlation to strength of subjective symptom of nausea. These results indicated that participations of both vestibular and autonomic activities affected to sensation of nausea induced by visual stimulation.
