On the performance of multi-input receivers in an infrared diffuse communication
Shinichi Yasue, Takeshi Hashimoto (UEC)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the diffuse optical wireless system , the receiver receives the transmitted signal through a number of different paths . We consider the merit of separately receiving signal from the respective paths using minimum distance as a performance measure . We show that separating paths has no merit for multipath delay less than one chip but it has a certain merit be a larger multipath delay .
