A Study of Protection Switching for Ethernetwork

(in English) Recently, the demand of wide area Ethernet services are increasing rapidly by arrival of full-scale broadband era. On the other hand, the wide area Ehternet networks which are cheap and high-speed are expected to provide a reliability and high quality of service. At the same time, it is a critical issue to improve the usability of the infrastructure.This paper discusses mechanisms for Ethernet protection switching using EtherOAM to provide a career-graded high reliable service on Ethernet network. Also, this paper describes the composition of a switch can be satisfy efficient use of bandwidth ,provision of multi-QoS and fair bandwidth allocation simultaneously.
