Study of Device Control Technique by Abstract Service

(in English) Home network consists of many kinds of appliances. These appliances are network appliances, white goods, AV appliances and PC-related appliances. It is nonsense that users are forced to operate network appliances requiring special knowledge of network in the operations or appliances whose operations tend to become complicated. To solve this problem, operation techniques where one can control appliances by abstract requirements without specifying appliances or operations of appliances have been proposed. There are several methods realizing one abstract requirement, so that it is more important to select the optimum method in the several methods. But this problem has not been solved in the former researches. In this paper, we propose a method selecting the optimum method by using the user’s action records.
