A Study of Packet Retransmission Control for SCS-MC-CDMA systems

(in English) An MC-CDMA system is one of major candidates for the 4th generation mobile communication systems. We have proposed a sub-carrier selecting MC-CDMA system where a low data rate user is allocated a narrow bandwidth with fewer sub-carriers to reduce signal processing loads at the mobile terminal. In this paper, we propose a Hybrid ARQ assigning resend signals to different sub-carriers in order to improve the throughput performance in the SCS-MC-CDMA system under the condition of the low maximum Doppler frequency. A computer simulation is carried out to estimate the proposed method's performance. The simulation results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the throughput performance.
