This paper proposes a new approach for recovering shape of human body from a single camera view. We suppose that a human body takes a finite number of poses. A pose database stocks a number of pose examples. Matching examples from the database with body images can measure movement of human body. Interpreting the movement of each part of the body as camera motion, one can consider the body images to be views from multiple calibrated cameras. A visual hull approach can recover the human body from the images. |
