Improvement of lasing-state control of a figure-of eight laser with external light

(in English) We tried to improve the lasing-state control of a passively mode-locked figure-of-eight laser. By using the external light with suitable polarization, increment of recirculating pulse number up to 12-bits was demonstrated. For delete-operation, control of the polarization state enables to obtain 90 % deleteing probability of success.
