Region Extraction of a Moving Object Using the History of View Directions and View Image Sequence

(in English) This paper proposes a method for extracting a gazed region from a
view-image sequence by analyzing the history of gazed points. All
gazed points, each of which is in a view-image, are projected to an
image frame in which the object region is extracted. These points are
then divided into several groups based on their colors and
positions. The gazed points in each group compose an initial
region. Each initial region is extended by employing Snakes. After the
extension, outlier regions are removed by comparing the colors and
optical flows in the extended regions in order to acquire a gazed
region.
