A Study on Channel Estimation Improvement for DPC-OF/TDMA Systems under Inter-Cell Interference Conditions

(in English) This paper proposes a channel estimation improvement technique under inter-cell interference (ICI) conditions for the dynamic parameter controlled - orthogonal frequency and time division multiple access (DPC-OF/TDMA) systems. In the proposed scheme, to be able to operate the channel estimation at less than 0 dB of the desired to undesired signal power ratio (DUR), the ICI is suppressed by applying the time window to the estimated impulse response. Moreover, to achieve higher accuracy, the estimated impulse response is averaged over several slots because the pilot signal is common to all the terminals. Computer simulation confirms the results that the proposed scheme can estimate the channel state with high accuracy under the ICI conditions.
