DDCS-based proportional differentiated services for OBS Networks

(in English) One promising switching technology for the next optical transport network is Optical Burst Switching(OBS). In this paper, we present a simple and efficient scheduling scheme with Quality of Service (QoS) support to handle data bursts due to their priorities in bufferless OBS networks. The scheme use our proposed Dynamic Data Channel Selection (DDCS) technology to adjust the candidate wavelengths of each class dynamically. Simulation results show controllable and predicable proportional service differentiation can be achieved. We also compare DDCS scheme with conventional dropping scheme to conclude that DDCS scheme has better performance.
