TDD-CDMA cellular and ad-hoc hybrid network with multi-hop connection

(in English) In mobile communications, there is a transition from voice to multimedia data. As a result, improvement of communication speed is required. Therefore, an increase of transmission power is necessary to achieve required Eb/N0. Additionally exhaustion of lower frequency band forces service in higher frequency band which have a higher propagation loss. This means still higher required transmission power. However, there is a limitation to maximum transmission power. Particularly, in uplink, increase of required transmission power is problem. In this paper, we propose a TDD-CDMA (Time Division Duplex-Code Division Multiple Access) cellular and ad-hoc hybrid network with multi-hop connection. In hybrid network, users can connect to a BS (Base Station) or an AP (Access Point) which can provide a most grade of service. This can improve data rate, save transmission power in cellular network and expand area coverage in ad-hoc network. We introduce multi-hop scheme to this hybrid network. Multi-hop connection further can save transmission power. In addition, decrease in interference power improve system throughput.
