Field Trial of Fast Restoration using OTN Signaling on JGN II Testbed

(in English) We developed optical cross connect (OXC) systems which realize fast restoration based on periodical shared-resource confirmation and OXC switching control using the OTN overhead. We used JGN II testbed environment and verified the fast restoration of a 10 G bit/s client signal with a recovery time of 46.6 ms under three-node configuration including optical fibers of 512 km as a back-up route.
