Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper describes designs for swing chair synchronized with moving picture image. The relationship between KANSEIs and swing angles of pitching and rolling were clarified by using a system consisted of the swing chair and a screen image. The 12 KANSEIs were measured under the environments of various swing parameters: swing frequency, swing angle of swing chair and swing angle of screen image. The senses of powerful and interest were increased, as swing angle and frequency of swing chair become bigger. In spite of the small swing angle of the swing chair, the senses of powerful and interest were significantly increased. The swing angle design equations of swing chair for giving appropriate KANSEI were obtained from the experimental data. The swing angle design equations may be used widely to the Virtual Reality or Mixed Reality systems.
