Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Petri net is an effective modeling tool for concurrent systems. A siphon and a trap are the subsets of place that can be are used for analyses of various problems of Petri nets. A siphon that is not expressed as a union of other siphons is called a basic siphon. Some methods of enumerating all or some of basic siphons of a Petri net have been proposed. Esparza et al showed that basic siphons are obtained as invariants of a matrix that is constructed with incidence matrices of the Petri net. The former can be enumerated by the Fourier-Motzkin method. In this report, enumerating basic siphons using Fourier-Motzkin like method is discussed. It uses logic operation instead of arithmetic operation. Experimental result shows that proposed method avoids overflow in calculation and uses less memory space, it is possible to handle larger Petri net.
