We describe the experimental results of wavelength conversion using direct-bonded QPM-LN waveguide. A 0 dB wavelength conversion based on cascaded second-order nonlinearity pumping scheme is achieved in the 1.5 micron telecommunication window. Moreover, we describe the application of QPM-LN waveguide to the non-telecom use. A visible laser which based on sum-frequency generation and a mid-IR laser which based on difference frequency generation using pump laser which designed for telecom use is described. |
