Performance Evaluation of MIMO Receiver with Consideraton of Antenna Load and Mutual Coupling

(in English) Recently, a MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) communication system realizes large channel capacity. So the system has been attractive in wireless communications as a next generation wireless LAN. Spatial correlation and mutual coupling among array elements affect MIMO system performance, especially for an array of closely spaced elements. In this report, we consider the effect of mutual coupling on MIMO system when load impedance of each element is assumed to be a complex conjugate of the input impedance ($Z_{in}^*$ ) or self impedance of the element($Z_{11}^*$) or optimal impedance.
