In the current environment there are diversity with regards to the connect mode, it is possible for one node to hold multiple interfaces. By using the node like this, the user can take advantage of the connect environment in which it can utilize each interface’s feature effectively. Especially the mobile node, which come and go in the area providing Cellular and Wireless LAN, can get large effect because of multiple interfaces. But in order to achieve such effect, it is needed to add the new mechanism into the existing mobility management system. Current MobileIPv6 can’t handle the requirements because it didn’t include it in the scope. This paper describes some issues and the necessary consideration for the connected network in order to apply MobileIPv6 to the mobile node with multiple interfaces. |
