A Method of Mutual Cooperation between IP Routers for End-to-End Delay Guarantee

(in English) Various real-time applications are used widely with the development of network infrastructure. To guarantee QoS(Quality of Service) of these applications, the Internet will require a priority control per flow. To realize QoS guarantee per flow, we have proposed an output buffer control mechanism, and confirmed its effectiveness. In this paper, to guarantee End-to-End QoS at a maximum, we propose the method of mutual cooperation between IP routers equipped with above-mentioned mechanism by using one of the signaling protocols. In addition, it is confirmed that our proposal method is effective through the performance evaluation by computer simulation.
