A method of low energy design over an autonomous reconfiguration technique

(in English) High power consumption is a constraining factor for Reconfigurable Devices growth.
We aim at reducing energy consumption by autonomous reconfiguration of data-dependent circuits.
These circuits are reconfigured in accordance with input data.
In this paper, we compare the energy consumption of the data-dependent circuits with that of the original circuits.
We apply our method to a DCT module of JPEG encoder, and we make MAC circuit by two contexts in this application.
As a result of evaluation, the energy consumption was reduced by a maximum of about 24.7%.
Moreover, the clock period of the data-dependent circuit was improved about 11.2%.
