Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Since most of the CAI System which has been put to practical use to date presents the same screen page of a teaching material to all the learner, it is not efficient in learning. Therefore the authors already proposed an Enhanced-Overlay-Model based WBT-CAI System. The Enhanced-Overlay-Model is a student model which understands exactly which part of a teaching material is out of learner’s element. In this paper, they propose introduction of “Degree of Difficulty” into the Enhanced-Overlay-Model. Due to this introduction, it is possible to create teaching materials more easily and to grasp the situation of learner’s understanding more efficiently than before.
