A Study on Time-domain Channel Estimation Scheme for OFDM Systems in the Presence of Guard Band

(in English) We propose a new channel estimation scheme for OFDM transmission in the presence of the guard band. In the proposed scheme,the time domain channel estimation is adopted to suppress the effects of the AWGN and the ISI. The feature of the proposed scheme is that the channel frequency response for the guard band is extrapolated by using an adaptive filter in order to mitigate the distortion of the impulse response.The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated compared with the traditional time or frequency domain channel estimation scheme by means of the computer simulations.
