Optical Burst Switching (OBS) has been proposed to be a promising
switching technology for the next optical transport network. In
this paper, we analyze the assembled traffic of the Science
Information Network(SINET) by using Fractional Brownian
Motion(FBM) model. The estimation results show that the burst
assembly does not change the self-similarity and long-range dependence
properties in long timescales but has a smoothing effect in the
short timescales. |
