he wide-band front-end of the software radio terminal and the digital radio terminal that convert the RF signal with a bandwidth that is wider than the desired signal bandwidth into digital signal and processes it, enables flexible frequency selection in the digital part. Thereby, it not only becomes easy to response to arbitrary radio systems that software radio is characterized so far, but also it becomes easy a dynamic channel selection and radio system change in Commons that share the frequency two or more radio systems and two or more operators.
The automatic gain control to manage the signal level that enables the wide-band front-end to use the limited dynamic range to its maximum, and a different structure from the legacy automatic gain control is required. The automatic gain control in this paper uses a dynamic range effectively by low distortion. In addition, it enables to improve the efficiency of frequency usage on both sides of the frequency and time because it has a high-speed response. |
