Forwarding Control Method on Ad Hoc Multicast Routing

(in English) In ad hoc multicast, the number of forwarding nodes changes depending on the selected route. Decreasing the number of forwarding nodes achieves collision avoidance and power saving of terminals, and accordingly improves the transmission efficiency on the entire network. However, since many existing routing algorithms simply use a shortest route, the transmission efficiency of the entire network is not considered. This paper proposes a new routing mechanism that controls the forwarding nodes to make the efficient multicast tree. The proposed method is evaluated by computer simulation.
