多世代データ保持のためのデータ複製プロトコル

データ複製配置手法では，データの書き込みと読み込みにおけるオーバヘッドバランスの調整を目的とした種々のプロトコルが提案されている．しかしながら，それらのプロトコルではデータの過去のバージョン保持について明示的に考察されていない．本研究では，過去の多世代のバージョンに対する需要がある環境に，データ複製配置手法を導入する場合の“多世代保持プロトコル”を提案する．書き込み操作についての定期更新を前提とする場合としない場合それぞれについてシミュレーションを行い，データ世代ごとのアベイラビリティや書込み操作と読み込み操作に関するアクセスコストについて論ずる． |

For data replication techniques,
several protocols have been proposed
to trade between write and read overheads.
However, there is scarcely any protocol to explictly discuss the retention of past generation data. In this paper, we present "Multigenerational Data Conservation Protocol," in order to introduce the data replication protcol to the situation where the read operation for past multigenerational data is required. Simulation results show the generation availability, an access cost for write operation and the one for read operation considering the periodical updating and otherwise. |
