A radial line slot antenna with honeycomb structure for satellite in-board equipment is proposed. The slot coupling with three-layer dielectric waveguide is analyzed by the method of moments. The first model with the diameter of 900mm is designed and fabricated at 8.4GHz. In the measurements, the peak gain is 33.9dBi with efficiency of 35.5% and the reflection is -9.5dB at 8.8GHz. |
