Improvement of Throughput by Pacing Based on Effective Piggyback in MANET

(in English) In IEEE802.11 multihop network, with the increase in traffic, interference increases and as a result throughput decreases. We propose a Pacing method based on Piggyback in this paper. In our proposed method, the number of frames in the network is reduced by the Piggyback method. In addition, the number of frames of inside the route is effectively adjusted by adjusting Backoff time. Moreover, it is confirmed through simulation that the throughput gain can reach up to about 40\% in Chain Topology, and shows the effectiveness of our proposed method.
