Upcoming broadcast-and-communication convergence and ubiquitous computing are required to provide different users/terminals/applications/time/places with various server services (Web/Data Base transaction) at high-speed response, using high-speed processing in edge network. Therefore, in this paper, there is proposed a computer embedded with dynamic reconfigurable processor (DRP) in order to realize high-speed processing power and response, and flexible server service, using direct I/O for communication data bypassing memory, hierarchical connection with processors, and high-speed reconfiguration on circuit for every packet, based on communication states between any terminals pre-registered outside processors. As a result, it is targeted to realize a compact and electric-power-saving computer to provide flexible server service at high performance. Additionally, in this research, I designed a few parts, distributed Web (connection control, auto-cache of server files, and reply of files requested from clients)), of application installed in the proposed computer, using direst I/O for communication data. In experiments setting 1kbyte to the size of file requested from clients, it was confirmed that the proposed computer achieved 25 times high-speed processing power (60k TPS) than a PC with a general processor using I/O via memory for communication data. |
