A Digital Spiking Neuron (DSN) can generate a spike-train that has various sequences of inter-spike intervals (ISIs).
The DSN is a wired system of shift registers and the wiring pattern determines characteristic of the ISI.
In this paper we regard a sequence of ISIs from a teacher DSN as a teacher signal.
Then we consider a problem: can a student DSN approximate the ISI sequence of the teacher by a learning?
We also consider an advanced problem: can a student DSN approximate a sequence of ISIs from an analog spiking neuron? |
