In route exchange of BGP, the justification of the route information advertised from BGP peer is verified, and the practical method that route control is performed based on the result is not established now. The route exchange system of BGP is vulnerable to the unjust route advertisement by intentionally or mistake, and when such a route is advertised, it has a possibility of affecting the whole Internet, and influence is unfathomable. In this paper, I propose a BGP route control architecture using the routing information database (IRR : Internet Routing Registry) which can verify the justification of the BGP route information, and control to unjust route automatically. |
