Combining Zero-Order Topology SOM and Centroidal Voronoi Tessellation for Morphing Non-Photorealistic Images

(in English) Centroidal Voronoi tessellation (CVT) is a basic tool for non-photorealistic rendering. In this paper, we propose a method for morphing non-photorealistic images generated using the CVTs. In the Lloyd algorithm for computing CVT, generating points are updated to the mass center of their Voronoi regions. Therefore, it is assumed that the Voronoi regions are nonempty in the CVT. However, it is difficult to satisfy the assumption when the CVT is morphed. We combine zeroth-order topology SOM with the CVT to alleviate the assumption. The proposed method is applied to non-photorealistic image morphing.
