| (in English) | Classification of liver region of couinaud segment is significant information for computer-aided diagnosis system to localize the position of lesions in the liver region. Hepatic vessels are essential information to classify the liver region of couinaud segment however automated segmentation and classification of hepatic vessels are difficult in non-contrast CT images due to the low contrast between hepatic vessels and liver tissue. In this paper, we propose an automated extraction scheme for extracting the hepatic vessels and distinguishing the hepatic vein and use it to classify the liver region into right and left lobe. | |
