Hodgkin-Huxley Model And Recurrent Neural Network

(in English) To simulate neuronal activity, it is necessary to formulate the time course of the current-voltage relationship recorded by voltage clamp method using the differential equations. The equations represent the dynamics of gate variables. In this paper, dynamics of gate variables in Hodgkin-Huxley model were implemented in recurrent neural network (RNN) and we calculated the membrane potential of neuron using the RNN model. The model could reproduce the neuronal responses to a step stimulus, the rebound response and the response to the constant stimulation, which are qualitatively the same as these of HH model calculated by the differential equations of gate variables. These results suggest that RNN will be used to simulate the neuronal activity.
