(in English) This paper proposes a warehouse operation model that is formally defined on the base of the set theory for supporting the design of warehouses. This model consists of a product structure model expressing the structure of product flowing through warehouses and a conversion model determining the works in the warehouses. Moreover this paper describes the factors considered in the design by applying this model to the existing operations .
