Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Ultrasonic tool horns with large cover area
1.ultrasonic bar-type tool
The upper bridge is assumed to be a virtual beam,of which height is determined ,so that it may
resonate at given frequency and width. Slots are located at its loop position. Half of the total width
must be multiple of half wavelength of shear wave transmitting in the virtual beam.
2.ultrasonic frame -type horn, ultrasonic ring-type horn
Two dimentional expansion of cover area is achieved by introduction of " principle of center of figure".
3.Uniformity of longitudinal displacement and suppression of lateral displacement is achieved
by the above stated design procedure.
