| (in English) | Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is applied as an important method to investigate human cognitive process. Visual search is a traditionally visual neglect sensitive measure which is already known about the involvement of right posterior parietal cortex (PPC). In contrast the study of temporal aspect of cortex areas is not sufficient. In this study, we used TMS to investigate temporal aspect of the right PPC and V1 involved in visual information processing. When we examined the effects of TMS on visual search, there was a significant elevation in reaction time when the TMS pluses were applied 150ms after visual stimulus presentation. We considered that the right PPC was involved in the visual search at about 150ms after visual stimulus presentation. | |
