Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Design of 81-element antipodal Fermi antenna array (APFAA) used for
real time passive millimeter-wave (PMMW) imaging is presented.
First, affect of the array spacing of 3-element $E$-plane APFA array
is studied to obtain on axially symmetric array element pattern
and the resulting array spacing is applied to the array of 9 elements and 81 elements. As a result, the axially symmetric array element pattern with the beam width of about 60$^{\circ}$ are obtained for each 3, 9, and 81 element array when the array spacing is 1.4$\lambda$. The band width with symmetrical pattern is about 40\%. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that lower mutual coupling is obtained by the presence of corrugation by levels of 15dB-20dB.
