Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In mobile ad hoc networks, it is difficult to configure any network topology using actual nodes to test the developed software such as routing protocols or applications in a real environment.
To solve this problem, we have proposed the testing environment for mobile ad hoc network software. In the proposed testing environment, the developed software can be efficiently tested using the network topology which is created by the proposed testing environment, and it is possible to test it in the real environment by changing a part of the developed software. This paper presents the topology generation mechanism which creates and changes the network topology on the testing environment, and the packet monitoring mechanism which monitors the packets sent by each node for the proposed testing environment. In addition, we have verified the routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks in the proposed testing environment.
