Biological informations obtained by using active thermography inspection technique

(in English) There are several tests for breast cancer including X-ray mammography, ultrasound diagnosis etc. Among them, the infrared thermography test has an important advantage as a noninvasive and non contact diagnosis method. However, thermography test is not popular for its low accuracy and necessity of experienced doctors. Here, we have constructed a new thermography diagnosis system adding a FIR heater with the conventional thermography diagnosis system. The system was named “Active Thermography” as it can heat the object actively. In this study, we measured the heating characteristics of our system with the volunteer breast cancer patients. As a result, temperature difference was found in between the tumor and normal tissue after heating the subjects actively. We have also studied about the temperature change in tissues.
