Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In order to enable ALS patients to operate PC easily, we have developed PC input interface using gaze information. In this system, horizontal and vertical gaze position on a display and eye blink are detected with an infrared camera to control mouse cursor and button inputs. Single, double and triple click can be performed by repetition of voluntary eye blinks. And brief fixation is also available for PC input information. Combination of the eye blink and the fixation information enable multiple inputs, which would improve operability of various PC applications.
