We experimentally investigate the nonlinear impairments on 43 Gb/s RZ-DQPSK signals with delayed detection and digital coherent receivers in a hybrid 10G/40G DWDM transmission over NZ-DSF with 50GHz channel spacing. Systematic measurement on RMS phase fluctuation has been performed with and without co-propagating 11.1 Gb/s NRZ signals on the specific transmission link. We have demonstrated the tuning of the digital signal processing parameter suppress the nonlinear phase noise of RZ-QPSK signals due to XPM to some extent. |
