| (in English) | To control immune functions by electrostimulation, we have studied the effect of electrostimulation on macrophage functions in vitro. We have reported that ELF electrostimulation affected the endocytic activity of macrophage and that humoral factors mediated this effect. In this study, we examined the amount change of scavenger receptors and possible involvement of humoral factor in this change. As one of the humoral factors, we measured the release change of TNF-$\alpha$ caused by electrostimulation. The results of experiments suggested that the amount of scavenger receptor increases with statistical significance and that humoral factors mediate this increase. However, we could not see statistical significance in the release change of TNF-$\alpha$. | |
