Examination of echography greatly depends on an operator's expertise and experience. Because contact force of the ultrasound probe on body surface is not quantitatively analyzed, safety and physical pain are also depends on the operator. Therefore we have noticed the three-dimensional contact force of the probe and recorded its variation with the trajectory by creeping on the surface of an abdominal phantom. As the result of analysis, not only reaction force on the surface but also friction force should be considered for creeping. Using the result, we attempted the reproduction to creep the probe by using ultrasound diagnosis robot. |
