An Estmation of the Optimal Location of Noise Sources Using Near-Field Magnetic Distribution

(in English) In portable equipments, noise generated from a digital circuit in the equipments is mixed into a receiver circuit, and the self-contamination problem in which the receiver sensitivity deteriorates occurs. Especially, since the antenna of wireless communication is adjacent to the noise source by downsizing, a significant amount of noise is delivered through the propagation channel that is created between the communication antenna and the noise source. Then, we have developed a novel design method corresponding to the self-contamination problem in consideration of the antenna characteristics. For the derivation of the novel design method, we have modeled the noise source and antenna from the phenomenon generated in equipment. We have derived that the optimal layout of noise sources can be calculated from the product of the magnetic distribution of noise source and that of antenna. In addition, we clarified that a good correlation between the product of the two magnetic distributions and the receiver sensitivity can be obtained using the TEG imitating a portable telephone.
