A method for extracting sound signal from a particular area which is surrounded by multiple ambient noise sources is proposed. The method appeared in the previous paper of the authors could not suppress the noise whose sources are located between the microphone arrays and the particular area for recording. In the proposed method, the positions of the sound sources, which are roughly estimated preliminarily, are used to overcome some problems that occur with extending the problem. From experiments in a room with reverberation, the method succeeds in suppressing the noise located between the target area and microphone arrays. |
