| (in English) | On developing a high efficiency radar system on a ship, the relationship between characteristics of the electromagnetic wave propagation and the wave height of the sea should be understood correctly. Ray tracing is often used for this problem because of simplicity, but the limit of application is unknown. In this paper we show the characteristics of the wave propagation over the sea calculated by the Parabolic Equation, and compare this result to that of by ray tracing. | |
