Fractal analyses of the Physiological signals with intake of meals
Yuki Ebina, Masahiro Nakagawa (Nagaoka Univ. Tech.) MBE2008-36
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) It is considered that the detection of the states of vehicle driver is considerably important subject for the driving safety. In this report, the physiological data concerned with the spice and alcohol are quantified by means of the fractal analyses. In addition it is well appreciated that the chaos property of physiological data are to be examined in terms of Lyapunov analyses.
In this report we shall propose a novel method to detect the driver's states such as the Automatic Drunk-Driving Prevention Devices (ADDPD) by means of such as a new quantification technique.
The experimental results imply the tendency such that the correlation dimensions of EEG signals of subjects are to be distinguished between spice and alcohol. Moreover the correlation dimensions are found to be similar to the state before drinking after time duration, e.g. ca. 90mins.
