The massively parallel SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) processor MX Core, which has been developed by Renesas technology, achieves high performance for multimedia processing. We proposed MIMD (Multiple Instruction Multiple Data) controlled data communication of MX Core. It improves flexibility of data communication between its processing elements. However there is not an effective path finding method for this architecture. In this paper, we proposed the method that reduced the data communication steps by heuristic algorithm. As a result, we improved the number of communication steps from conventional method by 21\%. |
