We developed an optimal scheduling technology that determines the operating schedule of energy network that minimizes CO2 emission or energy costs over a one-day or several-day period. This technology was implemented at Expo 2005 and Central Japan Airport City. In the demonstration research, we calculated the optimal scheduling of various energy sources and, then performed a comparative assessment of the results of applying the tabu search and genetic algorithm |
